We found this restaurant a bit by accident, because we were looking for a restaurant open for lunch on Sunday, which is not that easy in Taranto.
Luckily Le Due Fontane turned out to be an excellent choice.
This fish restaurant has a classic feel to it with it's white and blue interior and the staff is friendly and welcoming.
Since we were not very hungry we ordered the antipasti, which were really great. And more than enough to fill up our stomach.
Would definitely eat here again.

To begin with, the mussel soup I ordered was absolutely outstanding. I can also say the same for the first course and dessert.

This place is perfect to eat sea food and try nice wines. The chef is very caring, he’s advices were amazing. Portions are HUGE (4 people can full up). We ordered caprese, mussels, fried shrimps, sword fish and local wine. They were all delicious. Grazie chef!
Way too overpriced for the quality and quantity. €20 for mussels and majority of the starters, €25 starting price for main courses. Little flavours, poor presentation, terrible plates. Dear owner. You are NOT a Michelin star restaurant! Never again
Fresh ingredients, so let the the chef guide the menu! Great chef, great service, great food, great wine selection, great dessert. I have been to a few different good restaurants, but none putting their best foot forward quite like this one! They earned a review where the others did not. 5 stars!

Fantastic food! No need to ask questions or a menu. Just let the host make suggestions and enjoy! The muscles, squidn octopus and the special raviolis were amazing!
Great seafood. Especially the four course antipasto and the homemade ravioli is recommendable.
